High reliability
Wide temperature range
Mono 4~16kW and Split models can operate in cooling mode at -5°C~43°C ambient temperature.
For Mopo 18~30kW models, the outlet water temperature in heating mode is from 25℃~60℃.

Drying of the floor
Prior to heating, if a significantly large amount of water remains on the floor, the floor may dry out or even pop up during floor heating operation. A drying mode is available for use after the floor heating is initially installed and a pre-heating mode for the first heating to protect the floor. During the process, the water temperature will rise gradually.

Power limiting
The power limiting function makes the machine suitable for different power supplies. There are 8 ĸoĸnfіgurations, which the user can select according to the maximum permissible power. Only a simple nacpoĸyĸa of the ĸabel remote control is needed.

Holiday Away function
The "Holiday Away" function is a mode to improve system reliability and save energy. The unit operates in heating mode and/or DHW mode with low water temperature to keep the water from freezing in the winter. The user can pre-set the disinfection mode before returning home to have clean, germ-free water ready for use.

Temperature curve
Using the "Temperature Curve" function, the water temperature will automatically change as the outside temperature changes, saving energy while providing better comfort. A total of 32 fine-tuned temperature curves are available, temperature settings can be manually set, and one custom temperature curve is available.

Smart Grid
The heat pump adjusts the operating mode according to the different electrical signals from the network to ensure energy savings. When the cost of the electricity is low, the heat pump has DHW priority. When the cost of the electricity is high, the benefits associated with DHW are limited. When the price of the electricity is normal, the heat pump works according to the users' requirements.

System configurations
The heat pump system can be configured to operate with an activated or deactivated electric heater and can be used in conjunction with an additional heat sink, such as a boiler.
The chosen configuration influences the power of the required heat pump. Three typical configurations are described below:
Configuration 1: Heat pump only
The heat pump supplies the required capacity and no additional heating capacity is required.
It requires the choice of a heat pump with a higher capacity and implies a higher initial investment.
Ideal for new construction where energy efficiency is paramount.
Configuration 2: Heat pump and backup electric heater
The heat pump supplies the required power when the temperature of the ambient falls below the point at which the heat pump is able to provide sufficient heat. When the ambient temperature is below this point, the backup electric heater supplies the additional heating capacity required.
The best balance between the initial investment and the ongoing costs, results in the lowest life cycle costs. Ideal for new construction.
Configuration 3: Heat pump with additional heat sink
The heat pump supplies the required power when the temperature of the heating environment falls below the point at which the heat pump is able to provide sufficient heat. When the ambient temperature is below this point, depending on the system settings, either the auxiliary heat exchanger supplies the required additional heating capacity or the heat pump is not operating and the auxiliary heat exchanger supplies the required capacity.
It allows the selection of a heat pump with a larger capacity.
Ideal for renovation and upgrade.
All-in-one solution - heating, cooling and DHW in one system
M-Thеrmаl is an integrated system that provides space heating and cooling as well as domestic hot water, providing a complete, year-round solution that can eliminate the need for, or work in conjunction with, traditional gas or other boilers. M-Thеrmаl саn bе combined with underfloor heating, fan coil units, radiators and domestic water tanks. It can also be connected to solar collectors, gas fired heat and other heat sources. The Smaart Grid Ceptificate indicates that the M-Thеrmаl can fully utilise electricity from different sources or different price levels to satisfy different modes of operation, which is beneficial for cost savings.

Practical applications
Mіԁеа M-Thеrmаl heat pump systems can be used in a variety of scenarios. Below you will see the most common ones:

Heating and cooling
The underfloor heating circuits are used for space heating and the fan coil is used for heating as well as cooling. For the heating mode, the underfloor heating zones and the fan coil require a different operating water temperature. To achieve these two temperatures, a mixing station (optional) is used, which consists of a 3-way valve and a water pump to adapt the water temperature to the requirements of the underfloor heating zones. The mixing station is controlled by the unit. For the cooling mode, a two-way valve is used to prevent cold water from entering the underfloor heating zones, resulting in condensation during cooling.

Notes:
- 2-way valve (optional)
- 3-way valve (optional)
- Water pump (optional)
- Fan coil (can be purchased from Midea)
- Underfloor heating (available additionally)
Heating, DHW and hybrid heating system
The backup electric heater (custom)* and AHS provide supplemental heating to raise the water temperature for the module outlet temperature.
The TWH and solar system provide supplemental heating to raise the domestic hot water temperature. The 3-way valve is used to switch between heating mode and DHW mode.

Notes:
- 1. Solar panel (optional)
- 2. Additional heating switch (optional)
- 3. 3-way valve (optional)
- 4. Additional heating (optional)
- 5. Water tank (optional)
- 6. Heating coil (optional)
- 7. TVH: Additional tank heater (optional)
Dual zone control
Dual zone control is only available for heating mode. It can control different zones to reach different temperature in each to meet different users needs.
When using wired remote control:
The wired remote control sets the operation mode, temperature, and On/Off. Zone 1 is controlled, based on outlet water temperature. Zone 2 is controlled, based on the outlet water temperature or via a built-in sensor that is integrated into the wired remote control.
When using a wired remote and thermostat:
The wired remote control sets the operating mode and the water temperature. Both zones 1 and 2 are controlled by the thermostat.

Notes:
- 1. Radiator (optional)
- 2. 3-way valve (optional)
- 3. Water pump (optional)
- 4. Water heating (optional)
Multiple room management
Up to 6 room thermostats are available for connection to the M-kit and 2 thermostats for connection to the hydro module, allowing up to 8 rooms to be connected. M-kit is connected to the hydraulic module.
